Vein Therapy

Vein therapy is a non-intrusive procedure to reduce and eliminate the spider veins and broken capillaries that appear on your legs.  Although the Light Sheer Diode Laser is designed for permanent hair removal is also used to treat spider veins. Photo rejuvenation is also used for treating veins.

The laser is placed on top of the vein and treatment begins. Light energy will be emitted from the laser which is absorbed by the blood in spider veins and converted to heat. This heat dissolves the cells that create the color and will shrink the vessels themselves. Vessels may disappear immediately after treatment or they may fully or partially fade within 10-14 days.

The tip of the laser will feel cool to the touch. It cools the skin during the treatment and protects the skin. This is due to the chill tip technology on the Light Sheer which makes this laser unique and very comfortable.

After treatment, you may experience mild redness, swelling, or bruising, which usually resolves within a few days. Patients are required to wear compression stockings for two to three weeks post-treatment to support healing, improve circulation, and achieve the best results.
